So glad to have women friends
who seek to be honest,
who strive not to
critique others any more harshly
than they critique themselves.
Who will admit when they are wrong,
admit that they really don't know,
and admit that they need help.
Who search their souls,
who pray,
who honestly do
gaze at the stars.
Who value men,
who know the power
and the beauty
of words and music.
Who seek
answers,
beauty,
truth.
Who laugh out loud,
and loudest of all
at themselves.
Who know love and
know that love is good.
